As a former Richmond-er (Richmondite?  I should know these things), the news that the airy indie rock of Richmond group Denali is returning has been enough to let me revisit their underrated two-album discography.  Fronted by the chilling voice of Maura Davis, the group also features Maura's brother Keeley, better known for his time with Engine Down and Sparta.

Check out their myspace page for footage of them rehearsing (which is mostly the band just fucking around, really).  Their first comeback set will be July 5th in Richmond.
