Want to see Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band at SXSW?

While it has been a poorly kept secret, we're excited to finally have official confirmation that Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band will be performing at SXSW 2012 on March 15th. The undisclosed venue is intimate, which, for The Boss, means it could be anywhere other than Auditorium Shores or the Erwin Center. Per the SXSW press release:

"To determine who will be admitted to this show, SXSW will conduct a ticket drawing.

The following SXSW credentials are eligible to enter this drawing: Platinum Badge Holders, Music Badge Holders, Artist Wristband Holders, and those SXSW Music Wristband Holders who have already obtained their wristbands online (any wristbands sold during the week of SXSW will not be eligible). No other credentials are eligible to enter the drawing."
