2nd Street Soundcheck - Austin's First Philanthropic Music Festival

2nd Street SoundcheckTomorrow, the 2nd Street District, Whole Planet Foundation, and Comfort The Children International (CTC) present Austin's first philanthropic music festival which features an amazing lineup of artists. Co-headliner Rogue Wave will be playing their first show in 18 months. Led by Zach Rogue, the band's sound ranges from dreamy California pop to more uptempo and danceable tracks on their latest release. The other headliner, Poliça, is led by Channy Leaneagh, who some of you may recognize from Gayngs. Tapped by many critics to be the next breakout indie act, Poliça offers Channy's slow, soft vocals juxtaposed over a mélange of synths and funky bass lines. The stellar lineup is rounded out by Austin bands Alpha RevCowboy & Indian, Atlanta's Ponderosa, and Seryn from Denton.

Best of all, this event is totally free and the proceeds of all sales made on 2nd Street during the festival will be donated to CTC International and Whole Planet Foundation.
